About Me

August 7th, 2007

Originally, I grew up in Metropolis, Illinois. In 1987, My family moved to South Congaree where I graduated from Airport High School in 1994.  I received my B.S in Special Education at the College of Charleston in 2001, a M.Ed. in Elementary Education at the University of Charleston in 2002, and an M.Ed. in Educational Administration at the University of South Carolina, in 2005.

I began my teaching career in Lexington School District 4 at Sandhills Elementary School. I taught in a classroom for students with emotional disabilities from January 2003 to December 2005.

I’ve been working at White Knoll Elementary since January 2006 and am beginning my third full year at WKE. I am looking forward to meeting all our new students and welcoming back our returning students. I truly believe we have the best students, staff, and parental/community support that anyone could ever wish for.

Thanks for making WKE a GREAT place to be!!!
